Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Graduate Teaching Assistant to provide academic support to Year 3 students. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering individualized and small group instruction, assisting with classroom management, and helping prepare teaching materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, both within and outside the classroom environment.
  • Assist in maintaining a well-organized and inclusive learning space.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement instructional materials.
Requirements
  • A minimum of experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in Key Stage 2.
  • A solid understanding of the National Curriculum for Year 3, including English, Mathematics, and Science.
  • A flexible approach to supporting student learning, with a commitment to adapting instruction to meet diverse needs.
  • A relevant qualification in Teaching Assistance (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3) is desirable but not essential.
  • A strong emphasis on safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Estimated Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
