Your Role: Driving Growth in Scandinavian Territories

As a Business Development Executive within our Data Intelligence team, you'll focus on acquiring new subscription clients across Scandinavian territories. You'll leverage an online platform and APIs to sell data and insight solutions to key players in the maritime industry.

Collaborating for Success

You'll work closely with managers and colleagues who have successfully built significant subscription bases within our Data Intelligence brands. Your interactions will span Research, Analytics, Marketing, Legal, Development, and Support Teams, all contributing to your primary goal: expanding the regional Data Intelligence subscription base.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies, including targeted phone campaigns, to generate new business opportunities within Scandinavian markets.
  • Build a robust sales pipeline by identifying and qualifying prospects through lead generation efforts and industry events.
  • Effectively present Veson's Data Intelligence solutions to potential clients, highlighting their value proposition and addressing their specific needs.
  • Negotiate and close subscription agreements with key decision-makers within maritime organizations.
  • Provide valuable feedback to management on campaign effectiveness and market trends within the Scandinavian region.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in B2B SaaS sales, specifically targeting shipowners, maritime companies, banks, or related industries.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Norwegian is essential.
  • Demonstrated success in cold calling, lead generation, and building relationships with C-level stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively present complex technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in computer software and tools commonly used in sales and customer relationship management (CRM).
  • A passion for the maritime industry and a desire to contribute to Veson Nautical's continued growth within Scandinavian markets.
