Job Title: Programmer/Setter/Operator

We are seeking a skilled Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our team at TechNichols Resourcing Ltd. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating various machinery, including CNC turning/mill machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program, set, and operate CNC turning/mill machines to produce precision spec components for clients in the aerospace and automotive industry.
  • Change machine settings from one job to another within a set time frame.
  • Meet desired quantities, conducting in-process inspection and checking against drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and high standards.
  • Maintain updated records, including status/verification of work instructions (works orders).
  • Deal with technical queries where possible, as and when required.
Requirements:
  • Ability to read and understand programs.
  • Able to use micrometres, verniers, and other inspection equipment to check work to drawing dimensions and validation sheets.
  • Qualification in engineering or similar field with 3 – 5 years' relevant experience in a similar industry/role.
  • Good math and technical skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of systematic problem solving.
  • Be proactive and a great team player.
  • Be able to work effectively and efficiently to meet target deadlines.
