With a strong emphasis on enhancing the health and wellbeing of those in horticulture, our client is driven by a proactive strategy aimed at fostering better futures for individuals in this field.

They are currently seeking a Programme Manager to assist their self-employed members, offering a full-time, permanent position with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.

Role Overview

As a Programme Manager, you will spearhead the creation and implementation of strategic programmes aimed at fostering better futures for self-employed horticulturists throughout the UK.

Your responsibilities will include developing engaging, solution-oriented programmes that offer business education and guidance, ensuring that individuals in horticulture have access to essential resources, tools, and support to thrive.

By establishing key partnerships, you will enhance the reach and effectiveness of initiatives, driving positive change on a larger scale, while also equipping and supporting our client's teams with vital information, tools, and resources.

Additional responsibilities will include:

• Organising industry engagement activities

• Providing support and guidance to service teams

• Managing, monitoring, and supporting the reporting of risks

Candidate Profile

To be considered for the Programme Manager position, candidates should possess:

• Experience in providing advice and information to self-employed individuals or micro businesses, or a background in successfully managing a horticultural business

• Experience in teaching essential skills and knowledge for self-employment

• Experience in training, conducting workshops, or delivering presentations

• Strong ability to build positive working relationships

• Comprehensive understanding of the self-employed/micro business landscape
