Job Title: CNC Miller Programmer

Our client, a leading provider of CNC machining services, is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join their team in Aldershot. As a CNC Miller Programmer, you will be responsible for programming and setting CNC Mills to produce high-quality parts for various industries, including aviation, scientific, defence, and motorsport.

Job Type:

Days based, permanent position available.

Location:

Aldershot, with flexible working hours.

Salary:

£35,000 - £45,000 per annum.

Job Requirements:
  • High degree of experience and skill programming and setting CNC Mills.
  • Ability to work in a variety of materials and often to tight tolerances.
  • Initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Positive, courteous, and flexible manner required for working with the team.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and efficiency in the CNC sections.
  • Work on a variety of Heidenhain controlled 5 axis Mills.
  • Ensure all programs are saved and organised as per company procedure.
  • Plan and specify tooling requirement for production, including fixture and cutting tool list.
  • Ensure machining processes are optimised, particularly on large batches.
  • Support and advise other employees when required, in machining and programming techniques.
  • Work to established and developing company procedures in a continuously improving environment.
