Job Description: We are seeking a Statistical Team Manager to contribute in supervising functions of the Biostatistics and Statistical Programming staff within the Department of Biostatistics. As a Team Leader, you will be involved in hiring, training and mentoring staff. You will manage project timelines, budgets, and resources. Additionally, you will oversee the statistical aspects of clinical trials from design through analysis and reporting, acting as the lead statistician on multiple projects.

Requirements: Ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to successfully lead the biostatistics elements of multiple clinical projects simultaneously and provide appropriate mentoring of staff. An Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in statistics, or related field is required. The successful candidate must have SAS programming experience, prior line management experience, including performance and career review tasks, rather than just project team leading. Strong knowledge of statistical principles underlying clinical trials and strong statistical skills, SAS programming skills, and experience with other statistical packages (e.g., StatXact, Nquery) is essential.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience. A competitive benefits package is also included.
