Job Description

This role is a Senior Residential Children's Practitioner, responsible for providing direct care and support to young people aged 8-17 years in a residential setting. The ideal candidate will have recent experience of working in a children's homes environment and be able to work weekends.

Main Responsibilities
  • Care Planning and Delivery: Develop and implement individualised care plans that meet the needs of each young person.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of young people at all times.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other practitioners, including the Registered Manager and social workers, to deliver high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A relevant qualification in childcare or a related field.
  • Experience: Recent experience of working in a children's homes environment.
