About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving revenue growth within the Air Quality sector, leveraging your expertise to secure new business opportunities with major clients.

As a National Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive commercial strategy that aligns with our overall business objectives. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, account management, and marketing, to identify and pursue high-value prospects within the Air Quality industry.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a performance management process for the Air Quality & Occupational Health community, focusing on capability enhancement, call activity optimization, portfolio growth, and area expansion.
  • Manage a national project and portfolio pipeline to drive new business growth across various sales channels, business sectors, and key decision-makers within SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality).
  • Collaborate with the National accounts team to create a strategic plan for increasing our 'Share of Wallet' within existing National Accounts, specifically focusing on Air Quality & Occupational Hygiene solutions.
  • Implement a sales and marketing strategy that effectively leverages Sunbelt Rentals' innovative solutions for Dust/Fume/Ventilation/Filtration/Environmental Control/Occupational Hygiene sectors.
  • Consult with customers to understand their needs, develop bespoke solutions and work plans, and ensure seamless communication with installation teams for efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Develop and coordinate training programs to enhance product knowledge and Air Quality awareness across relevant sales channels and hire desks, fostering a team of trusted advisors.
  • Work in tandem with the marketing team to align campaigns and collateral with new products, services, and underutilized offerings.
  • Identify emerging markets and underpenetrated sectors within the industry, developing strategic plans to gain traction and market share.
  • Establish and maintain systems and controls for pricing strategies that optimize governance, discounting practices, and overall return on investment (ROI).
  • Promote cross-selling opportunities across all divisions of Sunbelt Rentals.
