A leading international law firm seeks a seasoned Senior Sanctions Counsel to join their team in London. This unique role combines fee-earning and in-house responsibilities, ideal for an experienced sanctions lawyer with dispute resolution expertise.

About the Opportunity

Collaborate with the firm's Sanctions Committee to provide expert advice on sanctions issues across multiple jurisdictions. Serve as the primary point of contact for complex sanctions-related queries. Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes in sanctions law and advise on their impact, ensuring compliance and necessary updates.

Responsibilities

  • At least 10 years of experience in sanctions law, with a strong focus on dispute resolution or contentious matters.
  • Deep understanding of sanctions law and the global sanctions landscape.
  • Experience advising on sanctions in a commercial law firm or in-house environment, ideally within a large international practice.
  • Proven ability to manage complex legal issues and provide clear advice.

Qualifications

A minimum of 10 years' experience in sanctions law, with expertise in dispute resolution or contentious matters. Deep knowledge of sanctions law and the global sanctions landscape. Experience advising on sanctions in a commercial law firm or in-house environment, ideally within a large international practice. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.

Compensation Package

We offer a highly competitive salary range £120,000 - £180,000 per annum, reflecting your exceptional experience and qualifications.
