Job Summary

This exciting opportunity exists within our speech and language therapy (SLT) team as an entry-level support practitioner. You will be working with our adult team based at New Cross Hospital.

We are looking for someone with a broad knowledge of SLT and a passion for working with adults in a hospital setting. This could be an ideal role for a school leaver or a mature person looking to expand their experience.

Main Duties of the Job

You will assist with the direct care of patients, as delegated to and supervised by the Speech and Language Therapist. Your role will involve providing support to the team, working collaboratively with members of the multi-disciplinary team, and contributing positively to the delivery of high-quality compassionate care.

You will uphold the fundamental standards of safety and quality, always putting patients first and protecting them from harm. This requires you to demonstrate the values of the NHS and commitment to personal and professional development.
