Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Social Services Specialist to join our team in Wolverhampton. As a Qualified Social Worker - Adults Learning Disabilities, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support services to vulnerable adults.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in social care and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for managing case loads, completing reviews and assessments, and working alongside other agencies to ensure the protection of vulnerable adults.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality support services to vulnerable adults
- Manage complex case loads and complete comprehensive reviews and assessments
- Collaborate with other professionals to deliver effective support services
- Ensure the protection of vulnerable adults through robust risk assessment and management
- Promote service users' choices, control, and independence through person-centred approaches
- Support service users to live safely and independently in their own homes
- Assess and review existing service users placed in care homes
- Review residential, nursing home, or day centre placements
Requirements:
- HCPC Registration
- Post-qualifying experience of working as a Qualified Social Worker - Adults Learning Disabilities Team within the UK Social Care industry
- Enhanced DBS/CRB
- Eligibility to work in the UK
