About the Job

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Wellbeing Therapist to join our mental health team at HMP Humber. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing low-intensity interventions to individuals within the prison population.

Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality mental health support, using evidence-based approaches such as CBT and guided self-help. You will work closely with other professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and develop strong relationships with clients to facilitate their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver low-intensity interventions, including CBT and guided self-help, to individuals within the prison population.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements

  • Post-qualification experience in offering and delivering low-intensity interventions at Step 2.
  • Evidence of working within a stepped care service with people who have experienced a mental health problem.
  • Demonstrates an understanding use of evidence-based psychological therapies.
