Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Rethink Mental Illness.

The successful candidate will be experienced in providing high volume, low intensity interventions for clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression within the prison setting.

Salary: £29,970 - £35,000 per annum + Benefits

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of an integrated primary care mental health team within HMP Humber.

As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will provide guided self-help in both 1:1 and group formats, in line with the current Step 2 IAPT guidelines.

  • Working within Prison Service policies and procedures
  • Complying with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Attending clinical/managerial supervision
  • Taking personal responsibility for individual performance review
  • Ensuring clear objectives are identified and reviewed
  • Maintaining internal standards of practice
