Compliance Manager

About the Role
This is a pivotal position in driving our sustainability goals and establishing a robust Quality Management System.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading initiatives to ensure our own-brand suppliers uphold the highest social, ethical, and quality standards.
The role is a hybrid, with a mix of office and remote work. You will be required to work in the office three days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the alignment and training of UK and Hong Kong teams on responsible sourcing practices
- Developing and managing KPIs to drive continuous improvement across supplier, product, and packaging quality
- Conducting supplier audits to ensure compliance with ethical standards and Pets at Home requirements
- Overseeing third-party contracts related to legislative compliance, and managing relationships with governing bodies
- Supporting the compliance team in managing product quality, safety, and complaints, ensuring proactive and timely corrective actions
About You:
We are looking for an individual with extensive experience in supplier audit, compliance, or technical management roles.
Key qualifications include:
- Strong audit capabilities, particularly in social and ethical standards (SEDEX and SMETA)
- Experience with CSR, HACCP, and product safety management systems
- Excellent communication, organizational, and people management skills
- Strategic thinker with a detail-oriented approach
