Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly motivated Community Family Worker to join our team in the South Hams. The successful candidate will work closely with families with children aged 0-8 years, providing support in community and home settings.

Key responsibilities include carrying out development reviews, working with parents and carers on health promotion and development topics, and integrating with the Health Visitors, School Nurses, and Staff Nurses to support whole family assessment.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, a comprehensive understanding of children's safeguarding, and knowledge of the Healthy Child Programme and wider public health agenda.
