Vulnerability Specialists play a vital role in supporting vulnerable individuals and communities within Sussex Police. As a highly skilled Investigative Support Officer, you will provide expert guidance and support to victims, working closely with colleagues to ensure effective case management and mitigation measures.
About the RoleYou will work collaboratively with teams to identify and respond to emerging trends and patterns, leveraging your expertise to develop effective investigation strategies. This challenging and rewarding position requires exceptional communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert guidance and support to victims, assessing threat, risk, harm, and vulnerability.
- Develop and implement effective investigation action plans, capturing relevant information using Force systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective case management and deployment of mitigation measures.
- Maintain accurate records, adhering to National Crime Recording Standards and Crime Data Integrity requirements.
Compensation Package: £27,747 - £29,649 per annum (pro-rata if part-time), including generous annual leave allowance, contributory pension scheme, and access to on-site gym facilities.
