We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Education Support Officer. This role is ideal for someone with experience in SEN, psychology, criminology, or sociology.

The successful candidate will support children with moderate learning difficulties and additional mental health needs in a school based in Lewes. The school caters to children aged 4-16 and specializes in SEMH, providing exceptional education and extra help for traumatized children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences for students.
  • Collaborate with therapists to develop forward-thinking plans.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of students aligns with established procedures.

Requirements:

  • A proactive approach to supporting vulnerable children.
