Antifraud Specialist

The Antifraud Specialist - Community Outreach role is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community by preventing fraud and supporting vulnerable individuals.

• This volunteering position involves working closely with Neighbourhood Policing Teams and partners to deliver antifraud advice within the community, promoting awareness of various fraud types and prevention strategies.
• Key responsibilities include attending engagement events, engaging with the public, contacting victims via post/email, reviewing victim data held on Excel spreadsheets, and identifying opportunities for effective collaboration with local stakeholders.

• A strong professional presence, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is essential for representing Sussex Police effectively in public settings.
• Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook, is mandatory for this role. Previous experience with volunteer work or a police environment would be advantageous but not necessary.
• The ability to work independently and demonstrate self-management, motivation, drive, and determination is crucial for success in this position.
