Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective merchandise planning strategies to maximize sales and profitability, while ensuring accurate inventory management and on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with the buying, logistics, and e-commerce teams to achieve business goals and drive full-price sales.
  • Produce weekly, monthly, and seasonal trading reports to analyze business performance and propose actions to optimize opportunities and minimize risks.
  • Present insights and proposals to the senior leadership team during the Monday trade meeting.
  • Analyze global performance and seasonal data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Develop and implement a weekly re-order strategy to ensure timely restocking and cost-effective solutions for slow-moving stock.
  • Manage line cards to ensure availability of continuity lines and collaborate with buying and logistics teams to optimize deliveries.
  • Update and reforecast the WSSI to reflect accurate data and present to the leadership team on a monthly basis.
  • Produce lessons learned at the end of each season and incorporate them into future planning.
  • Develop the future assortment planning strategy at category and season level, working closely with buying and design teams to ensure clarity on measurable KPIs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a merchandiser in a fashion, clothing, and accessories business.
  • Experience in online businesses or businesses with a significant proportion of sales from the online channel.
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to move between detail and top-line data to make timely and efficient business decisions.
  • Proactive and observant, with a willingness to challenge current ways of working and propose alternatives that enhance the business.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with multiple departments to achieve business goals.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with Power BI report and dashboard creation.
