Role Overview

As a Senior Merchandising Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in creating and achieving pre and in-season Range sales and stock forecasts by channel. You will support the Merchandiser in agreeing strategies and targets, analysing sales to identify winners and losers, and taking appropriate actions to maximise sales opportunities for the Department.

  • Develop and maintain strong communication links with retail, channels, allocation, suppliers, sourcing offices, and international teams.
  • Utilise advanced merchandising skills, including GSM management, Department Plan development, stock/commitment management, sales estimates creation, and production plans.
  • Fully leverage relevant IT support systems (Range Planner, SSI, SAS Reporting, JDA Merch Planning) and be conversant with standard business desktop applications.
Requirements

To succeed in this challenging yet rewarding role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as an Assistant Merchandiser in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Excellent Excel skills and ability to analyse data to inform decision-making.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a passion for product development.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
