Key Responsibilities
Support the Catastrophe Risk Manager in project work across our specialty classes of business, focusing on natural and non-natural catastrophe assessment. Provide real-time reporting and analysis of disasters. Enhance current data visualisation practices and management information systems. Assist the Catastrophe Risk Manager in model validation and calibration cycles. Develop and implement emerging modelling techniques. Lead scenario development exercises and ad hoc project work. Mentor junior analysts and present findings to senior management and external stakeholders.

As a Risk Modelling Specialist at Edenbrook, you will have a strong proficiency in using catastrophe modelling software and statistical analysis tools, such as RMS or AIR, and R or Python. You will also be experienced in developing and implementing emerging modelling practices for catastrophe risk assessment.
