Event Sales Coordinator
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at i2i Recruitment as an Event Sales Coordinator. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and growing our events sales by actively seeking out new corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue from events
- Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements and provide detailed proposals and quotations
- Research and negotiate with suppliers and contractors to secure the best prices and services
- Manage all logistics and coordinate suppliers for each event to ensure smooth execution
- Host events and ensure that they run smoothly, including setting up and packing down chairs and tables in the event space
- Assist with the organization and logistics of other company events, such as competition days and open days
- Ensure that all health and safety and legal obligations are adhered to
- Assist the Marketing Manager with marketing for events, as well as general marketing and social media
- Create graphics and artwork using design software
- Keep elements of the website up to date
- Organize newsletters and manage contacts and grow the mailing database
- Perform general office administration tasks, such as completing booking forms and invoicing
- Cover the front desk reception as necessary
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in design software and website management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
