Front Desk Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Front Desk Supervisor to join our Operations team at our Leicester site. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient execution of our delivery plans, monitoring driver activity, and escalating any issues that may impact service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control driver activity to ensure timely delivery of consignments
  • Handle driver calls effectively to minimize service disruptions and operational delays
  • Update systems to reflect changes in driver activity and equipment details
  • Escalate any potential service risks to the appropriate teams
  • Track and report on Hypercare activity throughout the shift
  • Deal with deviations from the plan, including cancellations, returns, shortages, damages, or refusals
  • Assist with Despatch, Debrief, Customer Service, and GTS housekeeping as directed by on-shift management
  • Investigate late or failed deliveries to provide root cause information to Contract Managers
