About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Howells Solutions Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing profit, value, and opportunity while fostering key relationships internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain management plan to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Lead the development of strategies for contracts and bids, identifying risks and opportunities to ensure the company's success.
  • Manage relationships with preferred supply chain partners to drive cost reduction and performance improvement.
  • Represent the company and fulfill client commitments, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Drive financial targets and ensure procurement compliance, maintaining a high level of integrity and transparency.
  • Provide visibility at events, communicating key supply chain and procurement activities to stakeholders.

Performance Management:

  • Analyze feedback, identify trends, and recommend improvements to enhance performance and engagement.
  • Develop performance league tables and compile compliance reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Present recommendations to enhance performance and engagement, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement.

Communicating and Influencing:

  • Regularly communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to improve performance and drive cost reduction.
  • Influence supply chain partners to drive cost reduction and performance improvement, ensuring a collaborative and mutually beneficial relationship.

Essential Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in supply chain management, with a strong understanding of FM and relevant processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of various forms of contract and commercial management information, with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Familiarity with COINS is desirable, and MCIPS qualified would be beneficial.
  • Full UK driving license is required.
