We are working with a leading construction business to recruit a Supply Chain Manager where you will lead by example and take the role to new heights. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in maximising profit, value, and opportunity while fostering key relationships internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain management strategy
  • Lead the development of contracts and bids, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Manage the expansion of relationships with suppliers and partners
  • Represent the business and ensure client commitments are met
  • Maintain strong relationships with preferred supply chain partners
  • Drive financial targets and ensure procurement compliance
  • Provide visibility at events, communicating key supply chain and procurement activities
  • Performance Management: Analyse feedback, identify trends, and recommend improvements
  • Develop performance league tables and compile compliance reports
  • Present recommendations to enhance performance and engagement
  • Communicating and Influencing: Regularly communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to improve performance
  • Influence supply chain partners for cost reduction and performance improvement

Essential Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of facilities management and relevant processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Knowledge of various forms of contract and commercial management information
  • Familiarity with COINS is desirable
  • MCIPS qualified would be beneficial
  • Full UK Driver's Licence
