Supply Chain Manager

Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for supply chain management? Do you have a strong background in logistics and operations? We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team at NOVUS Recruitment.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise in supply chain management. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of experienced professionals and developing strategies to drive business growth and improve efficiency.

You will work closely with the Site Director to ensure that the supply chain function is aligned with the overall business strategy. Your ability to drive efficiencies and improvements will be critical to the success of this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and management of the Supply Chain Function
  • Strategic direction of the team aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Ability to drive efficiencies and improvements
  • Ensuring a robust and effective capacity model is maintained
  • Drive the S&OP process
  • Work in partnership with the Operations Team to optimise materials management initiatives
  • Ensure a successful, collaborative relationship is developed with Engineering
  • Full involvement in product development
  • Management of costings and other key department heads
  • Improve efficiencies in materials management
  • Liaise with key stakeholders at all levels
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in supply chain management, with experience in the food or FMCG industry. You will also need to have the leadership skills to manage a medium-sized team of experienced individuals.

You will need to have the ability to have the correct level of involvement in the detail and day-to-day operation combined with strategic ability to drive the function in line with the wider business goals.

A confident approach, able to communicate openly and effectively at all levels, is essential for this role.
