Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our client, a world-renowned leader in high-spec manufacturing within the engineering sector. As a key member of their team, you will be responsible for working closely with 3rd party suppliers to drive continuous improvement and ensure the smooth delivery of their supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with suppliers to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance
  • Travel extensively to suppliers' locations in the UK, EU, and potentially the US to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Lean and manufacturing methodologies to drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in supply chain management or a related field
  • Strong understanding of Lean and manufacturing methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel frequently and work in a fast-paced environment
