We are working with a leading construction business to recruit a Supply Chain Manager where you will lead by example and take the role to new heights. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in maximising profit, value, and opportunity while fostering key relationships internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- To develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain management strategy
- Lead the development of contracts and bids, identifying risks and opportunities for growth
- Manage the expansion of relationships with key suppliers and partners
- Represent the business and ensure client commitments are met
- Maintain strong relationships with preferred supply chain partners
- Drive financial targets and ensure procurement compliance
- Provide visibility at key events, communicating key supply chain and procurement activities
- Performance Management: Analyse feedback, identify trends, and recommend improvements to enhance performance
- Develop performance league tables and compile compliance reports
- Present recommendations to enhance performance and engagement
- Communication and Influence: Regularly communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to improve performance and influence supply chain partners for cost reduction and performance improvement
