Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Deputy Ward Manager to provide clinical leadership and drive up quality care in a secure environment.

We are seeking highly motivated individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality and compassionate care to individuals with complex mental health needs.

As a Deputy Ward Manager, you will assist the Ward Manager in the provision of clinical leadership, driving up and maintaining quality care, and being a positive clinical role model.

Main Duties of the Job

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based care, including health promotion for a named service user/group.

You will participate in setting quality standards, monitoring, and reviewing in line with current clinical guidance practice and policy.

Additionally, you will ensure that the post holder understands and meets their professional role and responsibilities under the Care Programme Approach and current adult and child safeguarding legislation.
