Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a popular Secondary School in Preston. The successful candidate will provide general support to students with a wide range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and physical needs.

About the Role:
  • Provide support to students in a mainstream Secondary School setting
  • Work with students who have additional learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, and physical needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students' learning and behavior
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure students receive a high-quality education
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with additional learning needs
  • Excellent communication and behavior management techniques
  • Confidence in dealing with challenging behavior
  • Excellent interpersonal skills based on effective communication
  • Passion to ensure every pupil succeeds and reaches their full potential
