Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with mental health conditions, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of mental health services within the organization.
Main Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in adult psychiatry, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health services, including service redesign and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide education and training to junior staff and students, including medical students and junior doctors.
- Participate in research and audit activities, including the development of research proposals and the implementation of audit projects.
