About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Export and Shipping Coordinator to join our Customer Service team at Synergy Flavors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods between locations worldwide, while maintaining compliance with HMRC regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Plan and oversee the movement of goods for international and domestic traffic, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  2. Prepare and manage all necessary export paperwork, including product declarations, tariffs, bills of lading, and licence agreements.
  3. Coordinate with customs authorities to resolve any delays or issues, and maintain accurate records of all customs transactions.
  4. Identify and implement the most efficient export routes to minimize costs and maximize productivity.
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies, including those related to shipping, customs, and trade.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Experience working with import/export regulations and requirements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.Proficient in Microsoft Office or related software, with experience of ERP systems an advantage.Minimum 5 GCSEs, with a strong focus on numeracy and literacy.
