Import/Export Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Import/Export Administrator to join our team at People First. As an Import/Export Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and compliance with HMRC regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and oversee the flow of goods for international and domestic traffic
- Produce all necessary export paperwork and product declarations, filing tariffs, bills of lading, licence agreements
- Coordinate paperwork and documentation necessary to comply with customs regulations
- Identify the most efficient export routes
- Resolve customs delays and issues
- Maintain all necessary customs records
- Experience working with Import/Export regulations and requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Thorough knowledge of shipping regulations and policies
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite or related software
- Knowledge/experience of ERP would be a bonus
- DG trained/experience would be a bonus
