Job Title: Import/Export Administrator
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Import/Export Administrator to join our Customer Service team at a well-known food and beverage company. As an Import/Export Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the business complies with HMRC regulations and facilitating internal control, training, audits, and compliance-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee the flow of goods for international and domestic traffic
- Produce all necessary export paperwork and product declarations, filing tariffs, bills of lading, licence agreements
- Coordinate paperwork and documentation necessary to comply with customs regulations
- Identify the most efficient export routes
- Resolve customs delays/issues
- Maintain all necessary customs records
Requirements:
- Experience working with Import/Export regulations & requirements
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Thorough knowledge of shipping regulations and policies
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite or related software
- Knowledge/experience of ERP - would be a bonus
- DG trained/experience - would be a bonus
