Import/Export Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Import/Export Administrator to join our team at Synergy Flavours Limited, working out of our High Wycombe site. As part of our Customer Service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods between locations worldwide.
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of Import and export operations, requiring strong communication and organisational skills to deliver excellence to our customers. The role is varied, with freight being moved between locations in a fast-paced environment under time pressures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee the flow of goods for international and domestic traffic
- Produce all necessary export paperwork and product declarations, filing tariffs, bills of lading, licence agreements
- Coordinate paperwork and documentation necessary to comply with customs regulations
- Identify the most efficient export routes
- Resolve customs delays and issues
- Maintain all necessary customs records
Requirements:
- Experience working with Import/Export regulations and requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Thorough knowledge of shipping regulations and policies
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite or related software
Desirable:
- Knowledge/experience of ERP
- DG trained/experience
