Autism Spectrum Disorder Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Autism Spectrum Disorder Support Worker. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with ASD in Hackney.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Providing individualized support to students with ASD, helping them to engage in learning and reach their full potential.
- Collaborating with the classroom teacher to adapt lesson plans and materials to meet the specific requirements of students with ASD.
- Implementing a range of strategies to support students, including the use of visual aids, social stories, and sensory breaks.
- A strong desire to work with students with ASD or previous experience working in this field.
- Knowledge of ASD and an understanding of how to support children with special needs in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for helping students succeed.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
The salary for this role is approximately £32,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
