Are you a passionate individual looking to make a difference in the lives of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)?

We are seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join our team at an independent school in North London, supporting children aged 11-14 with neurodivergent needs.

About the Role:
  • Provide academic support to students on a one-to-one or small group basis
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture, offering emotional support as needed
  • Implement behaviour management strategies to maintain a safe learning environment
  • Utilise positive reinforcement techniques to encourage focus and self-control
  • Collaborate with teachers on lesson planning and delivery
  • Maintain awareness of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure student safety and well-being

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clear and up-to-date DBS
  • Experience working as a teaching assistant
  • A patient and calm attitude, with ability to work under pressure

As a teaching assistant, you will be part of a highly supportive team with exceptional senior leadership and fantastic resources. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting students with ASD and be able to provide individualised support to meet their needs.

This is a competitive role with a rate of pay between £80-100 per day.
