Educational Assistant for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder

Long Term Futures Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Specialist ASD Teaching Support Professional to work in a primary school setting. The successful candidate will support the educational and developmental needs of students with complex learning and behavioural difficulties, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other staff members.
We estimate that this role attracts a salary range of £95,000 - £105,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities and RequirementsThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting students with complex learning and behavioural difficulties
- Assisting with lesson planning and delivery
- Providing one-to-one support to students
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A passion for working with students with ASD and other special needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other staff members
- Experience working in a primary school setting
- Relevant qualifications and training
