Support Assistant

As a dedicated Autism Support Assistant in Southwark, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) succeed academically and emotionally. This fulfilling role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience while working with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:- Offer individualised support to pupils with ASD, focusing on their academic and emotional growth.
- Develop and implement intervention sessions to address specific learning needs.
- Enhance pupil engagement with classroom activities, promoting inclusivity and participation.
- Support pupils with SEMH needs, helping them manage emotions and interact effectively with their learning environment.
- Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Term time only employment, providing a healthy work-life balance.
- Collaboration with experienced professionals, including SENCo, Psychologists, and Therapists.
- Competitive salary: £23,000 - £25,000 per annum.
- A supportive and inclusive work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field.
