About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Mobile Maintenance Technician, supporting our Infrastructure Monitoring Contract in Scotland.

You will be responsible for undertaking scheduled maintenance activities in our major depot, ensuring that our Colas Rail Freight vehicles are in optimal working condition. This will involve both electrical and mechanical repairs on locomotives and rolling stock, as well as performing assessments and tests to ensure compliance with industry standards.

  • Develop a broad range of engineering skills and competencies while working as part of our maintenance team.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless operations and meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the workplace.

  • NVQ level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Full UK driving licence.
