Nightshift Infrastructure Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Railway Track Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Morson Talent. As a Nightshift Infrastructure Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing railway tracks, ensuring the safety and efficiency of train operations.
About the Role:
- Inspect and test railway tracks for signs of damage or deterioration using measuring equipment.
- Repair and replace damaged or worn track components, utilizing specialized tools and equipment.
- Prioritize work and organize materials and staff as needed to maintain efficient track operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report any track issues or maintenance needs to supervisors, following established safety procedures and regulations.
- Check that the rails are stable and properly aligned to cope with the speed and weight of trains.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in track maintenance or a related field, with a strong understanding of track inspection and maintenance procedures.
- Knowledge of railway track systems and components, as well as the ability to use track maintenance tools and equipment.
Estimated Salary: £21 Per hour + Holiday pay
