Track Maintenance Position in Greater London

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Railway Track Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Morson Talent. As a Nightshift Infrastructure Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing railway tracks, ensuring the safety and efficiency of train operations.

About the Role:

  1. Inspect and test railway tracks for signs of damage or deterioration using measuring equipment.
  2. Repair and replace damaged or worn track components, utilizing specialized tools and equipment.
  3. Prioritize work and organize materials and staff as needed to maintain efficient track operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report any track issues or maintenance needs to supervisors, following established safety procedures and regulations.
  • Check that the rails are stable and properly aligned to cope with the speed and weight of trains.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in track maintenance or a related field, with a strong understanding of track inspection and maintenance procedures.
  • Knowledge of railway track systems and components, as well as the ability to use track maintenance tools and equipment.

Estimated Salary: £21 Per hour + Holiday pay
