Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to provide exceptional care to patients with various mental health conditions. Responsibilities include forming trusting relationships with patients, monitoring their physical and mental health, administering medications, and offering emotional support. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing tailored support plans for patients based on their diagnosis.
- Arranging ongoing, long-term support for patients post-care.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Providing advice and reassurance to patients.
- Conducting standard physical health checks and administering medications.
- Discussing available therapies, support networks, and social activities to improve mental health and wellbeing.
Requirements:
We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (Band 5) with:
- NMC registration.
- At least 2 years post-graduate experience.
- 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
- The ability to pass an enhanced background check.
