As a Commercial Finance Manager at Elvie, you will play a key role in driving business growth and profitability. You will work closely with the Commercial Director to develop strategies for existing and new products, with a focus on regional trading and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with regional teams to achieve budget and 5-year growth targets
  • Participate in the annual planning process, including budget, forecasts, and 3-year plans
  • Develop business cases for key in-market decisions, such as new product launches or expansion into new channels and markets
  • Lead/input into commercial contract negotiations
  • Monitor and report on project budgets and business partner with teams to aid budget building
  • Build a detailed understanding of the full P&L and make recommendations on how to improve profitability, including margin analysis
  • Prepare insightful commentary and analysis on business performance
  • Assist with wider and ongoing analysis and projects/business cases as directed by the Head of Commercial Finance and CFO
  • Continuous improvement of processes and efficiencies within the Commercial Finance Team
Requirements
  • Ideal 1-3 years minimum experience in a Finance-focused role, with a proven track record of business partnering with senior stakeholders
  • Natural leader with the ability to bring the best out in others
  • Loves the idea of working in a fast-paced environment where they can shape the future of Elvie from the ground up
  • "Can-do" attitude and proactive in seeking solutions and implementing change
  • Genuine love of working with data and transforming it to create insights
  • Advanced Excel skills and/or other data analysis tools such as Alteryx and Tableau, with an interest in improving on these
