About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Manager to join our team at Elvie. As a key member of our Commercial Finance Team, you will play a critical role in developing strategies for existing and new products, with oversight of the full P&L.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Partner with regional teams to achieve budget and 5-year growth targets
  2. Participate in the annual planning process, including budget, forecasts, and three-year plan, coordinating inputs from all departments
  3. Develop business cases for key in-market decisions, such as new product launches or expansion into new channels and markets
  4. Lead/input into commercial contract negotiations
  5. Gain a detailed understanding of regional marketing spend, challenge, and make recommendations
  6. Monitor and report on project budgets and business partner with teams to aid budget building
  7. Build a comprehensive understanding of the full P&L and make recommendations on how to improve profitability, including margin analysis
  8. Prepare insightful commentary and analysis on business performance
  9. Assist with wider and ongoing analysis and projects/business cases as directed by the Head of Commercial Finance and CFO
  10. Continuously improve processes and efficiencies within the Commercial Finance Team
Requirements
  1. Ideal 1-3 years minimum experience in a Finance-focused role, with a proven track record of business partnering with senior stakeholders
  2. A natural leader with the ability to bring out the best in others
  3. A passion for working in a fast-paced environment where you can shape the future of Elvie from the ground up
  4. A "can-do" attitude and be proactive in seeking solutions and implementing change
  5. A genuine love of working with data and transforming it to create insights
  6. Advanced Excel skills and/or other data analysis tools such as Alteryx and Tableau, with an interest in improving on these
Desirable
  1. Part-qualified or newly qualified/finalist or ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
  2. Retail, FMCG, or e-commerce environment experience
  3. Experience of sales channel strategies across Direct, Retail, Amazon, or Healthcare
