Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced VAT Manager to join our team at Michael Page Finance. As a VAT Manager, you will play a key role in delivering wide-ranging VAT solutions to our clients, providing commercial advice on complex VAT issues, and managing the delivery of VAT planning projects.
About the Role
As a VAT Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Providing VAT advice to clients across various industries, including OMBs, large groups, corporate, and AIM listed companies
- Identifying opportunities for VAT services and promoting them internally and externally
- Managing the delivery of VAT planning projects, including negotiating with HMRC on VAT disputes
- Supporting the growth and development of our VAT service lines, including company sales and acquisitions
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualifications in ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent
- Experience in VAT, preferably in a chartered accountancy practice or similar environment
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to provide VAT advice to clients
- Excellent communication and project management skills
What We Offer
