Job Summary
Zest Business Group is seeking a highly skilled Eyewear Production Manager to oversee the production of high-quality eyewear products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end production process, from design to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the production of bespoke and commercial eyewear orders, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.
- Develop and implement efficient production processes, improving productivity and reducing costs.
- Lead a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless production and delivery.
- Source and procure materials, equipment, and supplies to support production needs.
- Develop and maintain technical drawings, CNC drawings, and other production documentation.
- Operate and maintain production equipment, including CNC machines, lasers, and other machinery.
- Manage inventory, including acetate, horn, and optical hardware, to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure high-quality products.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback to ensure open communication and a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in production management, preferably in the eyewear industry.
- Strong knowledge of CNC and modern production methods.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve production issues.
- Knowledge of 3D CAD software, such as Rhino, Autodesk Fusion 360, and Solidworks.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
