Eyewear Production Manager

About Zest Business Group
Zest Business Group is a leading boutique manufacturer of high-quality eyewear, based in Central London. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Eyewear Production Manager to lead our state-of-the-art production facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full end-to-end production of bespoke and bespoke+ orders, received via our stores or online through our company app.
- Create small commercial runs of frames, ensuring high-quality standards and attention to detail.
- Oversee the production of prototypes, samples, and experimental frames, driving innovation and improvement.
- Develop and maintain technical drawings and CNC drawings, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Operate complex equipment, such as in-house CNC machines, lasers, and other machinery, to produce high-quality eyewear.
- Recruit, train, and develop a skilled workshop team, including managing rotas and resource requirements.
- Manage frame repairs, 'rehab' services, and adjustments, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Sources materials, such as acetate, horn, and optical hardware, and machinery to develop the workshop.
- Train others on making spectacles, including frame-making classes for the general public.
- Produce regular reports for the rest of the team, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Catalogue and photograph all frames that come through the workshop, creating a permanent archive.
Requirements
- Excellent experience in CNC and modern production methods, with a strong understanding of 3D CAD software, such as Rhino, Autodesk Fusion 360, and Solidworks.
- Proven ability to build and manage high-performing teams, with a focus on recruitment, training, and development.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a dynamic approach to efficiency and improvement.
- Self-motivated and energetic, with outstanding communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Impeccable eye for detail and passion for design, with high-quality standards.

Package
- Full-time, 40 hours a week.
- Salary: £36,000 to £41,000 per annum, depending on experience.
