Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at Antony James Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children residing in our residential home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support and guidance to residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and other professionals to ensure their needs are met.
  • Assist residents with daily living skills, such as budgeting, shopping, and claiming benefits, promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
  • Participate in shift work, including day shifts and sleep-ins, to ensure 24/7 coverage and provide a safe and supportive environment for residents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and healthy living environment, adhering to health and safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a children's residential care setting, with a strong understanding of child development and behavior.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues, residents, and families.
  • Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Valid driving license and ability to drive a company vehicle (if required).
