We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childrens Residential Support Worker to join our team in Hinckley, Leicestershire. As a key member of our residential service, you will play a vital role in supporting children aged 10-18 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build trust and develop nurturing relationships with service users to promote independence, well-being, and strengths.
  • Work in partnership with parents/carers and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of the home, including cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Accurately document information and ensure records are up-to-date.
  • Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
Requirements
  • Hold the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or be willing to achieve this within the required timeframe.
  • Demonstrate a strong motivation to make a positive difference in young people's lives.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including sleep-ins and shift work, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Relevant experience working with children & young people is desirable, but not essential with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

  • A competitive salary of £27,616 - £32,396 (sleeps included).
  • A full-time, permanent contract with 37 hours per week.
  • A 3-week rolling rota with a mix of shifts.
