About the Role

Horizon Care and Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in our home in Kent. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people in their daily lives, helping them to develop new skills, build relationships, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support young people in their daily routines, including morning and evening care, meal preparation, and ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Encourage and facilitate activities that promote social skills, independence, and personal growth.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive living environment, adhering to Horizon's policies and procedures.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans and strategies.

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving licence is required for this role.
